DUBBO BEEF SPECTACULAR 2010

Hollywood Angus won Senior Champion at the 2010 NSW Beef Spectacular with 21 month old bull, Hollywood Damage Control D11. He weighed 975 kg with an EMA of 132. Damage Control is the first calf of Hollywood Hy Chaparral, Grand Champion Female at 2009 Dubbo Beef Spectacular. Hollywood Diamonds R Forever D12 won 20-24 mths class, and Hollywood Diorissimo placed 2nd in the 16-20 mths. In the Beef Spec Heifer Show, Hollywood Diorissimo D35 (pictured above), paraded by Lauren Amor, was Champion Heifer 18 months & under 20 months. Lauren Amor was also awarded Grand Champion Herdsman of the Show.

Senior & Grand Champion Female at Dubbo Beef Spectacular 2009. Hy Chaparral was a winner at Sydney Royal 2008 (20-24 mths class), and Reserve Senior Champion at Melbourne Royal 2008

Hollywood’s first major show for 2009 was at the Dubbo Beef Spectacular on 17-19 March. Hollywood was successful in taking out the Grand Champion Angus Bull and Grand Champion Angus Female, as well as the Breeder’s Group of Three and Most Successful Angus Exhibitor. “The Land” Livestock Manager, Brett Tindal, also presented Hollywood Stud with the inaugural Bob Arnold Memorial Trophy for Most Successful Interbreed Exhibitor.

DUBBO BEEF SPECTACULAR 2008

J&C Cheyenne A12 (J&C Cheyenne U4 x Vermilion Dateline 7078), Grand Champion Angus Female pictured at the 2008 Dubbo Beef Spectacular. Cheyenne was also Grand Champion Female at the Sydney Royal and Melbourne Royal in 2008.
Hollywood Angus started a successful showing year at the 2008 Dubbo Beef Spectacular, taking out Grand Champion Angus Female with our cow J & C Cheyenne, who went on to be placed third in the Interbreed Female Judging. Cheyenne was paraded by Rachael and Fallon Wheeler with her 3 week old calf at foot. Rachael was also awarded Champion Herdsman of the Show.
